Montagsfrage: Blog-Equiment? || Question of Monday
Greetings.
I still have holidays – and that’s gorgeous! After I’ve just slipped out of my warm bed, I thought I test bilingualism for the Monday question today. The shortness of the question suits me ;)
Today, the Buchfresserchen (like book-muncher) would like to know:
What technical device do you use to blog? Do you use the phone, tablet, notebook, PC or something else?
I am blogging on my notebook purely because it’s the simplest way – and I have no other PC ;)
But – like Svenja the book-muncher herself – I also use my smartphone for other things connected with the blog. E.g. I use Instagram only on the mobile phone, and I also answer e-mails sometimes.

I‘m sorry, but my inner teacher would like to suggest a few improvements ;D
While „come towards“ is technically correct, it sounds rather German and I guess you would use „accommodate“ instead since this relates to wishes and stuff.
And I think you mixed up two expressions in the last paragraph – you would either say „But I also use my…“ or „ I use my notebook as well as my…“
Lastly, you use Instagram on your mobile phone. English is very particular when it comes to prepositions, which makes it tricky.
All in all you did a great job and I commend you for polishing up your English and just giving it a go :)

ach wie oft habe ich schon darüber nachgedacht, ob ich meinen Blog in zwei Sprachen anbieten sollte, um die Reichweite zu erhöhen (auch wenn du eher darauf abzielst, dein Englisch aufzupolieren ^^)… Einerseits keine schlechte Idee, andererseits glaube ich, dass ich viele englischsprachige Rezensionsexemplare genau deshalb bekomme, weil ich in Deutsch für ein deutsches Publikum darüber blogge. Und ich weiß, dass ich es zeitlich nicht schaffe, jede Rezension zu übersetzen. Ich weiß auch nicht. Vielleicht, wenn ich eines Tages vom Bloggen leben kann (was wohl nie passieren wird). xD

um ehrlich zu sein, ist es primär um vielleicht mehr Leser zu erreichen, aber eben auch zum Englisch aufpolieren ;)
Ich weiß auch noch nicht, ob ich das durchziehe mit zweisprachig, gerade weil mir auch oft die Zeit fehlt. Aber ich dachte ich mache mal einen Testlauf mit den relativ kurzen Montagsfrage-Beiträgen.

Huhu Marina,
mir geht es wie dir, ich schreibe meine Beiträge ausschließlich auf dem Laptop. Das ist einfach am bequemsten und ich kann schneller Tippen und habe nicht die nervige Autokorrektur, die mir ständig dazwischenfunkt. :D
Instagram läuft bei mir aber auch nur übers Smartphone. Aber da bin ich auch nicht mehr ganz so aktiv.

Instagram habe ich auch, aber das nutze ich mittlerweile nicht mehr, da ich auch Bilder viel lieber über den PC teile, als am Handy^^°
